Because Sometimes Wishes Can't Wait

Thank you so much for visiting our website and taking the time to learn about this remarkable organization that touches the hearts of Texas children in need. Granting the Wishes of children diagnosed with life-threatening diseases can only be explained as magical. It is a gift of joy, laughter, hope and strength but most of all it is a gift of love given by the kindness of others.

Since joining a Wish with Wings, I have been amazed by the never-ending stories of the children we have served over the past 27 years and the joy that each Wish has brought. Having granted over 1,091 Wishes, the faces of these children are imprinted on the hearts of our staff, volunteers, donors and sponsors.

There is always great joy when we learn of a child who has beaten the odds and has survived a disease but there is also tremendous sorrow when we learn of another who has lost his or her battle to a disease that has no conscience. We are comforted only by the memories of how, for a brief moment in time, their sickness and suffering seemed to magically disappear because of a Wish with Wings.

I welcome you to join us today, as we continue with our mission of making Wishes come true for Texas children. It is a gift that will forever change the life of a child. It is a gift of love.
